My name is Tarasa Gardner (TG), and I am a 500 E-RYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance) with over 500 hours of training and over 4,000 hours of teaching. I offer diverse yoga and meditation classes and an online membership for beginners and yogis of all levels.
I found yoga after a car accident in hopes of restoring some strength and flexibility in my dominant arm. When I started at home with YouTube videos, I couldn't hold tabletop position without my arm shaking uncontrollably. I realized that I needed to take my own Beginner's course so that I could understand how to yoga safely and use modifications to help me gain strength and flexibility how my body needed.
From there, I am now here. Not only is my arm strong, my mind is so much healthier and happier. I love helping others start and continue their own yoga journeys. It's a life-long, day-to-day practice.
Self-care is not selfish. It is necessary, and yoga helped me see that I could feel better and be more fit without punishing my body or viewing myself for my flaws.
