Hello, Yoga Beginner's Academy

In 8 weeks, my Beginner’s Academy assists individuals who are busy, overwhelmed, stressed, and stiff in feeling longer, stronger, happier, and healthier both in their bodies and minds.

By promoting yoga as a lifestyle, and not just a physical practice that involves splits and handstands, I can help you re-establish boundaries and balance in your life. 

One of the biggest obstacles I see people face is being interested in yoga but not truly knowing how to start, how to start a practice safely and comfortably, and feeling intimidated in the process.

You can jump into a studio class and learn as you go; you can take private sessions; you can enroll in an online course -- all of these are options, and all of these are actually options that I offer as a yoga instructor as well.

However, when asked about my best recommendation for how to start a lifelong practice, my Academy is always my answer. I mean, it’s the reason I designed it! 🙂

I knew that there were so many people who:

  • want to understand how to practice safely with proper alignment and to build confidence using props to best suit their practice and body,

  • want the support and contact of a private session but also the community of a small group,

  • want to be able to ask questions to tailor and deepen their practice,

  • want to build consistency and want set appointments on their schedule for accountability,

  • want to transform their life with yoga as a way of life, not just a physical practice.


In this Academy you can move at a pace that feels good for you join from anywhere and ask your questions of me, watch and rewatch the material, and learn how to adapt the yoga practice to meet your needs.

Eight weeks will pass whether you join or not, but think where you could be on your yoga journey and the transformation these weeks could have in your daily life.
