Frequently Asked Questions
1. When do you have classes?
To ensure you have the most up-to-date schedule, check here. You can also reserve your spot in class from there!
2. Which classes are good for beginners?
All of our instructors have significant training (minimum of 200 accredited hours), so all classes are tailored for the students who are there. If you are a beginner you are welcome to attend ANY class. Feel free to tell your instructor prior to class any concerns you have or limitations to help us further tailor our classes.
In yoga, the goal is nourishment, not punishment. Therefore, rest when you need and do not force your body into any pose that feels uncomfortable. The feel of stretch is ok, but ouch is always a sign to stop. We are all practicing, so do not compare your practice to anyone else's practice. The goal is everyone feeling better when they leave.
3. What training do the instructors have?
Each instructor at You, Yourself, and Yoga has a minimum of 200 accredited hours of training and is registered with a national accrediting body. This is known as a 200 RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher).
The owner, Yoga with TG, is a 500 RYT and a 200 E-RYT, meaning she has over 500 accredited hours of training and over 1,000 hours of teaching since her 200 hour training was completed. She will soon be a 500 E-RYT, meaning she has taught over 2,000 hours of yoga since becoming registered.

4. What do I need to bring to class?
Dress in clothes you feel comfortable moving in and a water bottle. Usually, we have all other props you would need; however, with COVID-19 we ask that you bring your own mat to class and any props (blocks) you know you need. Don't feel the need to buy additional props, beyond a mat, prior to your first class. You can chat about additional props you might benefit from using in your practice with your instructor after class.
5. What safety protocols does the studio have to minimize the risk of COVID-19?
We have a list of cleaning protocols for instructors and a few requests of students. See the protocols here.
In short, we are asking students to bring their own mats for practice and to wear a mask when not on the mat for practice. Additionally, props are not being lent out for classes at this time.
6. What about private sessions?
Yes, the studio offers private sessions. You can work directly with the instructor to schedule. Private sessions (for 1-5 people) are $25 for 30-minute sessions and $40 for 60-minute sessions. If you have a larger group, prices can be negotiated with the instructor.
To book with Yoga with TG, you can book a 30-minute session here, a 60-minute session here, or email [email protected].
